1. Practice & Simulator Passes

Validity

• Early Bird passes and 5-visit passes are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
• 10-visit passes and above (including monthly/annual memberships) are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Personal Use Only

All practice and simulator passes are for the registered member's personal use only. The member must check in and be present to use their own pass.

• 1st violation (pass used by someone other than the registered member): 1-week suspension of the pass.
• 2nd violation: membership cancelled, no refund.

Bay Sharing & Time Limits

• 10-visit and 20-visit practice passes allow a maximum of 2 people (the member plus one additional guest) per bay, for up to 2 continuous hours. Beyond 2 hours, the hourly rate applies.
• Guests of 10-visit, 20-visit, and 1/3/6/12-month pass holders may use a separate bay at the member-guest rate of $28.

Simulator Capacity

• Simulator pricing covers up to 3 people. A 4th person may join for an additional $5 (4 people total = $40).
• For safety reasons, 4 people is the maximum allowed per bay, regardless of price paid.

Membership Is Non-Transferable

Passes and memberships are for individual use only and cannot be shared, transferred, or used by anyone other than the registered member.

Freezing a Membership

Individual passes may be frozen (put on hold) with a minimum of 7 days' advance notice by email. Maximum freeze duration depends on pass length:

• 3-month pass: up to 1 week
• 6-month pass: up to 2 weeks
• 12-month pass: up to 1 month

Refunds

All passes and memberships are sold at special/discounted pricing and are non-refundable once purchased.

Suspension & Cancellation

In addition to the personal-use rule above, GOLFIXX may suspend or cancel a membership, without refund, for:

• Verbal or physical abuse toward staff or other customers (immediate cancellation)
• Intentional damage to facility or equipment (immediate cancellation, plus the cost of repair/replacement)
• Repeated breaches of these terms (escalating from suspension to cancellation)

2. Safety & Liability

• Golf inherently involves the risk of injury from swinging clubs and struck balls. By using our facilities, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
• GOLFIXX is not liable for injuries sustained while using our facilities or equipment, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
• GOLFIXX is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings, including your own golf clubs.
• If your own equipment causes damage to our facility (screens, projectors, mats, sensors, etc.), you will be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
• Simulator data (distance, spin, ball speed, etc.) is provided for practice reference only; accuracy is not guaranteed.
• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, who is responsible for the minor's conduct.
• Use of bays while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted.
• GOLFIXX reserves the right to refuse service or remove any person from the premises for breaching safety rules.
• CCTV is in operation on the premises for security purposes; by entering, you consent to being recorded.
• Members are responsible for the conduct of any guest they bring onto the premises.

3. Lesson Bookings & Cancellations

Lessons are booked separately by email following purchase. Cancellations are handled based on how far in advance notice is given, relative to the scheduled lesson date:

• 3 or more days before the lesson: full refund (100%)
• 2 days before the lesson: 75% refund
• 1 day before the lesson: 50% refund
• On the day of the lesson: no refund

4. Ball Printing (Custom Engraved Golf Balls)

• You are responsible for confirming that any personalised text or logo is correct before your order is confirmed. GOLFIXX is not responsible for errors in customer-submitted text or artwork.
• Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded for change of mind.
• This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in relation to faulty, misprinted, or incorrectly supplied goods.
• Orders are produced and shipped within a maximum of 1 week. If a delay occurs due to stock availability, we will contact you directly by email to arrange a suitable solution (wait, substitute, or refund).
• Pricing is the base ball price plus a flat $20 printing fee. Promotional codes apply only to the $20 printing fee and do not discount the base ball price.

5. Pro Shop Merchandise (Titleist / FootJoy and other off-the-shelf products)

• Unopened, unused items may be exchanged or returned within 7 days of receipt.
• This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 for faulty or misdescribed goods.
• Prices are set based on our in-store retail system and may change without notice.

6. Privacy Policy

GOLFIXX collects and handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).

Information we collect

Name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order history. We do not store your full payment card details — these are processed securely by Stripe.

Why we collect it

To process orders, manage memberships, provide customer support, and (unless you opt out) send you marketing communications.

Who we share it with

Stripe (payment processing), Loyverse (our point-of-sale and inventory system), and delivery couriers, as needed to fulfil your order.

Overseas disclosure

Some of the above providers, including Stripe, store data on servers located overseas (e.g. the United States).

Retention

We keep your information for as long as you have an active relationship with us, plus 7 years for tax and accounting records as required by NZ law.

Your rights

You may request access to or correction of your personal information at any time. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Marketing emails

You are subscribed to marketing emails by default and may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send.
